Samaritan Psychiatry and Wellness is a growing Arizona behavioral health practice committed to compassionate, faith-guided, patient-centered, and evidence-based care. We provide psychiatric medication management and psychotherapy through telehealth and limited in-person services.
Position Summary
We are seeking an Arizona Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) to join our expanding therapy program. This position is structured as a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity with clinical supervision available, subject to Arizona Board requirements.

Current Patient Demand
The practice has an established internal referral base with patients currently waiting for therapy services, allowing the selected clinician to begin building a caseload promptly.
Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based individual psychotherapy.

Develop and update treatment plans.

Complete documentation within 72 hours.

Coordinate care with psychiatric providers.

Participate in required clinical supervision.

Maintain HIPAA compliance and ethical practice.
Clinical Supervision
Board-compliant supervision is anticipated to be available for Arizona LACs, contingent upon confirmation of supervisor eligibility and completion of all required Arizona Board agreements and documentation.
Productivity Expectations

Build toward 12–15 completed sessions per week during onboarding.

Progress toward 18–22 completed sessions per week as the caseload develops.

Maintain timely documentation and reliable communication.
Qualifications

Master's degree in Counseling or related field.

Active Arizona LAC license in good standing.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Therapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide professional therapeutic services and help patients navigate life’s challenges through individualized, strengths-based care. This position offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time opportunities, including weekend options for clinicians seeking to expand their caseload.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.

Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential clinical documentation within the EHR.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.

Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed.

Remain current on therapeutic best practices and continuing education.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Maintain an active caseload of approximately 15+ clients per week or 40 sessions per month.

Demonstrate ongoing growth in clinical knowledge, modality application, and patient outcomes.

Maintain a 90% client retention rate and professional rapport.

Complete and submit all documentation within 48 hours of session completion.
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work.

Active Arizona license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW).

Experience in therapeutic or clinical settings preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team culture.

Compassionate, ethical, and trauma-informed approach to care.

Comfortable working with diverse populations and all age groups.

Ability to provide services via telehealth and/or in-person (depending on patient need).
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive compensation structure: flat rate or percentage split based on experience (e.g., 70/30 to 75/25).
